A unique event that will bring our community together to increase awareness and opportunities.
“We Are Better Together”
The "Our Autism Journey - Better Together" Event and Ceremonial Walk aims to raise awareness about Autism in our community and encourage inclusivity, support, and involvement of individuals and families with Autism.
This community event is for everyone. It will include sensory friendly activities for all ages. This is not a traditional vendor fair but an educational and interactive journey.
The event will be held at the Benton County Fair Grounds in Kennewick, WA and runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with the ceremonial walk beginning at 12:30 pm.
Journey Experience
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
There is no Entrance Fee for the Journey Experience
The Journey Experience offers warm hospitality and high-engaging interactive exhibits, allowing you to learn about Autism, the diagnosis, therapies, resources, positives, and challenges.
Professionals will provide learning experiences and “Ted Talks” throughout the experience to educate and increase awareness.
People of all ages and interest levels will find their time with the Journey Experience enriching and memorable.
The Walk/Run/Roll for Autism
Start Time 12:30 pm
End of Walk 1:00 pm
Join Us! In creating an annual inclusive event that shows support for individuals and their families. Its purpose is to celebrate Autism Awareness Month in April and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Autism.
Walk 1/2 mile within the Benton County Fairgrounds on a designated route. Asking for your help to raise funds through Walk Participation.
